After the death of Vladimir, his adopted son Svyatopolk receives the support of the boyars and occupies the throne of his father in Kiev. In the north of the country in Novgorod, Prince Yaroslav gathers a large army to challenge the rights of his brother.
The country is ruthlessly torn apart by hunger, lawlessness and disease. Everything that was sacred loses value, and human anger no longer held back.
At the very center of the raging civil war are three main characters: the sorcerer, warrior and robber. War breaks into their ordinary lives, and now they are all involved in a bloody conflict. The stories of the three heroes are interconnected, full of tension, difficult trials and choices that can change the fate of the whole country.
